Case Worker (Aftercare)

The Riverside Regional Jail is actively seeking a Case Worker (Aftercare) to provide case management and counseling for substance abuse female inmates as it relates to aftercare services.  Responsibilities include: conducting seminars or workshops, maintaining records, providing individual and group counseling, develop short and long term after care plans.

Computer literacy is required and a Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice, psychology, or any other related field.  Prefer background skills in mental health, substance abuse, community resources.  Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.  Ability to interact with individuals from different educational and cultural backgrounds.

Salary: $32,000 (Grant Funded)
