Riverside Regional Jail is seeking full-time Medical Contract Monitor to oversee inmate health care contract monitoring services.
Duties include ensuring operational and clinical procedures to provide proper compliance of conditions of the inmate health care service program. Conduct an on-site audit to ensure proper compliance of all operational, clinical and financial obligations/services of the Health Services Contractor. Provide audits of the inmate off-site cost and service fee, as required of the inmate contract provider. Ensure that appropriate payments are issued and accurate processing and accounting is being conducted by the off-site health services providers for inmate health care and shall direct correction of inaccurate accounts.
Minimum Qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. and a valid Virginia driver’s license. Incumbent must be a U.S. citizen and at least 18-years of age, as well as be able to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts. Incumbent must not have been convicted of a felony. Experience in a Jail or corrections facility with a public, private, or military agency preferred but not required.
