Riverside Regional Jail has an opening and is currently accepting applications for the position of Mental Health Supervisor. This is a full time position with benefits.
Duties: The MHS is responsible for providing clinical supervision of clinical staff/Qualified Mental Health Professionals. Has knowledge of mental health concepts and diagnosis with some knowledge of substance abuse competencies and services. Responsible for providing effective leadership to the clinical staff, and works closely with the program staff (counselor/case workers). Has knowledge of the organization, provides supervision, reviews, assess, and evaluates patient/offender treatment plans and clinical records.
Education and Experience: Applicant must have graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or any other human service related field. Must have knowledge of mental health and some knowledge of substance use. Must be Clinician who has full licensure, provisional licensure, and (if claiming license eligibility, applicant must be able to provide proper documentation). Applicant is able to supervise those to obtain their license. A minimum of (3) years’ experience in a jail, prison setting/corrections facility, or a private, public, and or government sector required. Prior experience in a correctional environment preferred.
Full-Time: $60,137 – $128,284
