The incumbent will perform a variety of typing and clerical duties supporting office operations and activities.  Duties include but are not limited to: entering information into computerized systems; filing; copying; scheduling appointments; maintaining department files; drafting and typing memorandums, letters, and other correspondences as directed; greeting the public and vendors; answering incoming calls, taking messages and forwarding them to the appropriate staff.

Education and Experience: Must possess a high school diploma or GED certificate.   Completion of two years of high school level typing and business office procedures with at least one- (1) year of general clerical experience.  Thorough knowledge of standard office practices, to include equipment and clerical techniques, ability to perform mathematical calculations, ability to type a minimum of 45 wpm; ability to proofread documents and pay close attention to detail.  Must be able to use a personal computer and be familiar with commonly used business software to include Windows, Word, Access, and Excel.  Any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.  Incumbent must possess a valid Driver’s License. 

Full-Time: $25,287 – $53,827
